History of Animation

 

Mickey Mouse was a character that interested me, since I have liked the old cartoons for a while he was first created by Walt Disney in 1928, at first he was created because Disney wanted a replacement for a character named  Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, he first appeared in a short called plane crazy, he also was one of the first cartoons that had sound with the animation he has appeared in a total of 130 films. he first started appearing in short films but then went to full length films afterward ten of mickeys films were nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film he also was the first cartoon character to have a Hollywood star.

Mickey Mouse was first a black and white cartoon from 1929-1935 in 1932 he first appeared in color in the parade of the award nominees however the film wasn't released to the public. in 1935 his first color film  came named  the band concert, this would then be voted the third greatest cartoon of all time, afterwards Disney decided to redesign mickey in order to put him back on top after the redesign mickey became more popular. Walt then received an award from the League of Nations for creating Mickey Mouse, then in the 1940's he was redesigned in the little whirlwind however this new design didn't last for long since he was returned to his design that was used in the pointer. 

Mickey Mouse then had a show called The Mickey Mouse Club, this is where he was competing against Warner bros' bugs bunny for animated popularity, and afterwards they shared some screen time in the film who framed roger rabbit. Mickey Mouse has had many shows as well like for example mickey mouse works which was an ABC show and Disney's house of mouse and also the mickey mouse club house which aired between 2006 and 2016 and since 2013 Disney has been airing Mickey mouse shorts which are of a total of three minutes

I think the biggest challenge in this project was working with fluids as well as adding the correct materials this was difficult because there were times where the fluids would not work correctly, or the materials did not look how I expected them to look so I had to change them or made them darker or a different color.

These Donuts

One of the biggest challenges that I found on this project was making the crystal bowl

this was a challenge for me because when making the fluid it would go out of the bowl

or would be hanging in places it was not supposed to be in that was really the only challenge 

I had.
